Welcome to Assets ("we," "our," "us"), a mobile application developed by Tushar Raut based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Assets is a premium real estate property listing and search platform designed primarily for real estate professionals, brokers, agents, builders, and individual buyers or renters.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and services. We are committed to safeguarding your personal data in accordance with local regulations, including the Information Technology Act of India and rules framed thereunder, as well as guidelines set out by the Google Play Store Developer Policies.

To provide a functional and secure marketplace, we collect specific information from you. This is categorized as follows:

A. Account and Profile Information

• Name: To identify you as a legitimate user, broker, or buyer.
• Email Address: To send account notifications, verify ownership, and facilitate customer support.
• Phone Number (Mobile): Crucial for partner broker identification and mobile verification.
• Profile Avatar: An optional user-uploaded photo to build trust within the property network.
• Role: Your designated account type (e.g., Agent, Broker, Builder, Individual).

B. Real Estate & Listing Information

• Property Metadata: Title, description, carpet area, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, furnishing status, pricing, and amenities.
• Listing Photos: User-selected images representing the property, uploaded directly to our cloud storage.
• Property Location (Precise & Approximate): Property addresses, pin codes, and GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) provided by you to display listings on map viewfinders.
• RERA Registration Numbers: Collected for real estate brokers, agents, and builders to enforce compliance with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority of India.

C. Transaction and Payment Records

• Billing Information: Purchase logs, subscription levels (e.g., upload limit caps, unlimited active packages), transaction status, and pricing details. Transactions are initiated via PhonePe API integration. We do not store raw card numbers or banking passwords on our local database.

D. Chat and Communications

• In-app Messages: Content of instant messages exchanged between real estate professionals and prospective clients inside our encrypted chat module.

3. How We Use Data

We utilize the collected data to operate the Assets application, verify credentials, and connect sellers with buyers. Key uses include:

• Creating and Managing Profiles: Authenticating users and providing access to their specific property catalogs.
• Publishing Listings: Displaying your properties to other active buyers/tenants on the search feed and maps.
• Facilitating Communications: Enabling brokers and prospective clients to interact directly via instant chat within the platform.
• Verification and RERA Compliance: Auditing agent registries to prevent spam, fraud, and illegal listings.
• Managing Subscriptions: Adjusting property upload limits based on payments made through our secure billing integrations.
• Push Notifications: Delivering alerts regarding matching leads, new messages, or billing renewals.

4. Database & Storage

Your data is stored securely using cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase. Supabase acts as our primary database engine and object storage host.

• Database Storage: Profile details, chats, property details, and transaction history are stored inside relational SQL tables on protected Supabase databases.
• Media Storage: User avatars and property photos are hosted in secure Supabase Storage buckets, restricted by Row Level Security (RLS) rules.
• Local Caching: App preferences, tokens, and temporary layout states are cached locally on your device via Android Shared Preferences for performance optimization.

5. Third-Party Integrations

We work with trusted third-party providers to deliver essential authentication, database hosting, and mapping infrastructure. These services collect and process data according to their own privacy frameworks:

We do not sell, lease, or trade your personal profile data. However, due to the nature of a public real estate portal, the following sharing occurs:

• Public Showcase: When you publish a property listing, details such as the title, description, photos, location, and your profile name/RERA ID are visible to all users browsing the app.
• Lead Delivery: If a buyer expresses interest in a listing, their contact details may be shared with the listing's author (agent/builder) to facilitate transaction discussions.
• Legal Enforcement: We may disclose data if legally required to do so by governing agencies, regulatory departments, or courts in India to prevent illegal activity or RERA violations.

7. Your Rights & Account Deletion

We believe in absolute transparency and grant you full control over your personal data. You are entitled to the following controls:

If you are unable to access the app settings, you may request account deletion by emailing us at assetspune@gmail.com. We will process your verification request and permanently purge your records within 7 business days.

8. Children's Privacy

The Assets application is strictly designed for adults engaged in business transactions and real estate investments. We do not knowingly collect, request, or maintain data from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a user under 13 has registered, we will immediately delete their information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to align with software updates, law amendments, or operational upgrades.
